The inner surface of the planter is covered with varnish, so it is already ready for pouring the candle.
You can fill such pots with any material, but most often waxes with a low melting point are used for container candles. Like soy, coconut. You can also fill the planter with paraffin, beeswax, and palm wax.
WARNING. It is not recommended to burn candles in plaster pots for more than two hours at a time. This can lead to overheating of the walls and cracking of the planter.
