The electronic thermometer for measuring the wax temperature with a rod sensor, the rod length is 15cm. The measurement range is from -50 to 300 degrees. It is powered by batteries. It can measure in Celsius and Fahrenheit. Thermometer is indispensable in the carved candles creation, because during cutting the candle the quality and the wax plasticity depend on the temperature conditions. The thermometer is important not only for carved candles, but also for flooded candles, to observe the temperature regime, as paraffin temperature affects the result when pouring:
- For frost effect on candles the optimum wax temperature for pouring is 62-65° C
- For a smooth candle pour the wax at the temperature of 80-85° C
