How to make a candle at home?
Start with a container candle! A gypsum pot is perfect for this.
- Gypsum planter “Pumpkin”.
- Material: gypsum
- Color: beige, orange

Dimensions:
- Height with lid – 7.5 cm
- Height without lid – 3.5 cm
- Diameter for packaging – 7.5 cm
- Diameter for wick selection – 5 cm
- Volume: 60 ml
- Approximate candle mass volume: 40–50 ml
- Recommended cotton wicks from the Candle Art line: No. 3
- Recommended wooden wicks from the Candle Art line: narrow lace wooden wick, cross wooden wick
The inner surface of the planter is coated with varnish, so it is already ready for candle pouring.
You can pour candles into this planter using any material, but most often, container candles are made with low-melting-point waxes such as soy or coconut. It can also be filled with paraffin, beeswax, or palm wax.
⚠️ Attention: candles in gypsum pots should not be burned for more than two hours at a time. This may cause the walls to overheat and the pot to crack.
